How AI makes English language coaching better and more human
I see using AI as an opportunity to deliver more of what I already do so well.
What does my use of AI actually mean for someone working with me?
Let me give you an example.
Imagine you have a meeting coming up in English. You know your subject, but you’re worried about explaining your ideas clearly or answering an unexpected question.
We start with that situation. I can use AI to help prepare relevant questions, explore possible scenarios and develop activities around what you need. I choose and adapt what makes sense for you.
Then we try it together. You explain your idea, I ask a follow-up question, and we discover where things get difficult. Perhaps you know the vocabulary but overthink the sentence. Perhaps your explanation is accurate, but the point gets lost halfway through.
That’s where my coaching happens: listening, responding, helping you adjust and giving you another chance to try. Sometimes a small change makes a surprisingly big difference.
Afterwards, AI helps me turn what came up into useful practice: vocabulary examples, questions, or a tailored activity you can revisit in Best Practice. Our conversation becomes the starting point for what you work on between sessions.
Vibe coding takes this one step further. With AI helping me write software, I can build tools around needs I notice in my coaching. Being the coach and the builder means I can keep asking: would this actually help the person I was speaking with today?
AI takes some preparation work off my hands and makes other kinds of support easier to provide. That gives me more capacity to build the experience around you, your English, and the situations you want to feel more comfortable in.
